Welcome to Blanco BBQ in San Antonio
Since February 2015, Blanco BBQ has been the home of the Friday Networking Lunch. Prior to that we spent a few years at a Chinese Buffet, a few years at Anne Marie’s Catering, and a few years at El Chaparral.
Blanco BBQ provides a discounted menu to our members and guests and they allow the FNL to use their private dining room for no additional charge. The cost for lunch is just $11.99.
But, what about the food? Blanco BBQ starts with the best ingredients, 100% Black Angus Brisket (which they smoke for 14 hours), homemade Polish sausage, hand-selected pork ribs, hams, chicken, and turkey breast.
The meats are smoked with a mixture of Texas Oak and Pecan wood. They brine their chicken and turkey for 8 hours, to be super-moist and flavorful. Blanco BBQ makes all of their own spice rubs, each one specifically for each meat. And yes, they cook slow and low. Lower temperatures may require more time, but the product is extra juicy!
